How to scan

  1. Tap the blue camera button. Allow the camera when the phone asks (once).
  2. Hold the phone flat over the page. A blue outline appears on the document edges. In Auto (the default) keep still and the photo is taken for you. Switch to Manual at the top to tap the white shutter yourself and then drag the corners.
  3. Keep scanning for more pages. The counter at the bottom-right shows how many you have. Tap Done when finished.
  4. Check each page. Pick a filter (Auto is best for paper), Crop to fix corners, Rotate if needed, Text to read the words. To re-arrange, press and hold a page in Pages and drag it.
  5. Share / Export. Choose PDF, tap Share…, then pick WhatsApp, Gmail or Google Drive from the phone's share sheet.
Tips: good light and no shadow from your hand. White paper on a white table works, but a darker or coloured surface under the page gives the fastest, surest edge detection. If the edges are not found, just tap the shutter and drag the corners. ID card mode puts the front and back on one page. QR / Barcode reads codes. Everything stays on this phone — nothing is uploaded.
